Genuine Old Cone Top Beer Can Shift Knob

Now here's a kooky conversation piece that'l definitely get you noticed. A HouseOSpeed exclusive.
This shift knob is created from a genuine from the ole days, uniquely rusty and weathered cone top beer can. They are all one-of-a-kind thanks to the previous owners - some where kinda to them than others, all have imperfections which are a great addition to ye olde hot rod/rat rod.
They average in height at about 5 1/2" by 2 3/4" in diameter, and are filled with solid resin then laquered to keep from rusting any further.
The little beauty shown here is "Peerless Extra Premium - Since 1856 The BEER of Good Taste", but we have many others....

Three Australians put this magazine together simply because of their love for rods, customs and old cars in general. They wanted an Australian-based magazine to promote and push traditional hot rod & custom building. Australia has a strong hot rod scene starting back in the mid fifties through to the modern street rod. With every decade producing a style of its own, there's a lot of build options out there - a 40's lakester, a 50's jalopy or a 60's show car. It's good to see the traditional rodders doing research and separating the eras, going for split wishbone front and rear ends over the more recent four bar set up. The Lonestar Round Up was a huge success!

Here is our set up for this year's Lone Star Round-Up last weekend. Friday was a hellish day as far as the weather, but Saturday was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for better weather, and an incredible turn out for the event. Everyone had a smile on their faces.

We even had a special visitor from Double Trouble, Mr Chris Layton stopped by our booth. Chris is the very talented drummer who played with Stevie Ray Vaughan
